2.3. The abstract should reflect: aims and objectives of the research, methodological basis of the research, information sources, main results and conclusions. References to involved sources and abbreviations that are not common are not used. The abstract should use the main key concepts related to the submitted article, bearing in mind that most modern information systems perform contextual search only by titles and abstracts of scientific publications. The length of the abstract should be 200-250 words. The word "Abstract" should be placed on a separate line before the abstract. Format: Times New Roman font, size 10 pt, line spacing 1.0 (single line).

2.4. Keywords contain 7-10 words and/or phrases separated by commas. They should be placed after the words "Keywords:" (in bold) on the same line with them. Do not put a full stop after the keywords. Keywords should correspond to the topic of the article and reflect its subject, terminological area. It is not recommended to use more than 3 words in word combinations, as well as participial turns. Format: Times New Roman font, size 10 pt, line spacing 1.0 (single line).

2.5. Acknowledgements, if grant funding is available, are given after the keywords with the preceding word "Acknowledgments:" ("Acknowledgments:" after the keywords in English). Format: Times New Roman font, size 10 pt, line spacing 1.0 (single line).

Example: Acknowledgements: the work was supported by the Russian Science Foundation, project No.....

III. The MAIN BODY of the article should be structured and divided into sections and, if necessary, into subsections and smaller structural units. The following sections are mandatory:

1. Introduction. In it is recommended to clearly outline and formulate the object, subject, purpose of the research, present the hypothesis of the research and give a brief review of published works on the topic (at least 4-5 references to sources published within the last five years). If the article has a large volume, the ‘Introduction’ should familiarise the reader with its structure.

2. Theoretical and methodological provisions.

3. Data used and methods of working with them

4. The results of the study and their discussion, i.e. comparison of the obtained results with the results of other studies on a similar problem with characterisation of the novelty of the presented study.

5. Conclusions (findings).

Bold and italic writing is allowed for emphasis in the text, it is forbidden to use capital letters, space and underline. The text of the article may be accompanied by illustrative materials (tables, diagrams, charts, graphs, diagrams, etc.), arranged in accordance with these requirements, as well as footnotes for notes and sources from the media, websites, legislative acts, statistical databases (including statistical collections, bulletins, etc.), reports and other sources not related to scientific publications.

When describing Internet sources, the following should be indicated: title of the publication, website, e-mail address, date of reference. The name of the site is separated by a double slash //, to which a double space is applied. The URL abbreviation ("Access mode" - only for indicating the specifics of access to resources (subscription, local network, etc.)) should be given before the electronic address and the date of reference should be indicated in parentheses, e.g. (date of reference: 15.03.2022). The electronic address of the source should be up-to-date (valid link). Footnotes should end with a full stop.

Example: Number of men and women // Rosstat: [website]. URL: https://rosstat.gov.ru/folder/12781 (date of reference: 27.08.2023).

When drawing up tables and figures, their titles are indicated in Russian and English. In English, all words in the title are written with an uppercase letter (other letters are lowercase), except for prepositions, articles and conjunctions, where all letters are lowercase. The word "Table" (in English Table) with a numerical number shall be written above the table in the Russian language, aligned on the right edge, i.e. in the upper right corner, no full stop at the end. The title of the table is written on the next line, alignment in the middle. For figures, the word "Figure" (in English "Figure" for graphs and "Picture" for other images) with a numerical number and the title are placed below the figure and aligned in the centre. When referring to table and figure data in the text, the words "table" and "figure" are not abbreviated. Figures and tables are made only in black-and-white version. It is recommended to draw graphs with the signature of numerical values and coordinate axes. All figures and tables should be referenced to the source.

Numbering of tables, figures, formulas, footnotes should be continuous throughout the text. The format of the main text of the article: Times New Roman font, size 12 pt., line spacing 1.5 lines (one and a half); first line indent 1.25; text alignment by width. References to formulas are given in parentheses; formulas are typed in the formula editor. For tables (except for the title) and footnotes, Times New Roman font, size 10 pt., line spacing 1.0 line (single line) is used. A table or figure should not exceed 0.5 A4 pages. Figures should be submitted as separate files in .jpg format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

IV. After the main body of the article the following elements of design are given in Russian: (1) "List of references", including a list of in-text bibliographic references; (2) additional information about the author(s); (3) information about the contribution of each author, if there are several authors; (4) information about the absence or presence of a conflict of interest; (5) the author responsible for correspondence; (6) information about the continuation of the article, if it is published in parts; (7) annex(es) to the article, if any. These elements are then repeated in English in the same sequence. Format: Times New Roman font, size 10 pt, line spacing 1.0 (single line).

4.1. Rules for drawing up the Список Литературы

The list of references includes scientific publications that are mentioned in the main text of the article. References to Internet sites, Internet sources (does not apply to scientific works posted on the Internet), normative-legal documentation (laws, regulations, acts, etc.), reports, reports, statistical publications (including collections, bulletins), reference books, dictionaries and encyclopaedias, textbooks, newspaper publications are not indicated in the reference list, they are located in the text in footnotes.

The list of references should consist of at least 15 sources, including scientific publications not only by domestic but also by foreign authors. In the list of literature the number of publications with participation of the authors of the article should not exceed 20%, the number of publications of Russian sources older than 5 years should not exceed 30% of the number of Russian sources, the number of publications of foreign authors should not be less than 20%. It is recommended to use materials published in journals included in the core of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), namely Scopus, Web of Science, including RSCI, and equivalent international databases of scientific citation (Google Scolar, etc.), as well as journals from the VAK list of category K1.The sources included in the reference list are numbered and arranged in the order of their mentioning in the text of the article. All sources included in the reference list should be referenced in the text of the article. References in the text of the article should be enclosed in square brackets with an indication of the serial number of the reference list, for example: [4] or [2, p. 86], [5, pp. 12-14] when referring to a specific fragment of the source text. If the reference contains information about several sources, groups of information in square brackets are separated by a semicolon sign.

In bibliographic descriptions of sources, authors' full names are indicated using the following rules:

- publications of up to three authors: authors' full names are placed at the beginning of the bibliographic record in the sequence surname-name-patronymic.

- publications with four authors: all authors are indicated by a slash under the title, with the first name and patronymic preceding the surname.

- publications with five or more authors: all authors are indicated with a slash under the title, with the first name and patronymic before the surname. Abbreviations are allowed - the first 3 authors may be listed with the designation [et al]. If necessary, all authors may be listed.

When forming a bibliographic record it is necessary to observe the following rules: the authors' full names located at the beginning of the bibliographic record are in italics; no space is put between the name and patronymic of the authors; two-sided spaces are applied to the separating signs (for different elements of the bibliographic description) slash / and double slash //; the separating sign dash (for different elements) is not used; when describing an article from the journal it is necessary to observe a space between the sign № (number of the journal issue) and the numerical value (for example, № 2); in the records of the type № 2(77) in the description of sources it is not applied. The entry [Electronic resource] is not used in the description of sources. Foreign sources are formatted according to Russian standards.

For books indicate the place of publication, publisher, total number of pages (e.g., 50 p.), for articles - the range of pages (e.g., P. 12-25). If available, ISBN for books, DOI and EDN for books and articles should be indicated without applying a colon to the abbreviation. The DOI identifier is in the form of an e-mail address (https://doi.org/...) without the additional abbreviation DOI. The identifiers are arranged in the above-mentioned order, separated by a semicolon when enumerated.

4.2. Rules for drawing References

The list of references in Latin script is given in "References" using the Vancouver style. The numbering of entries in References should coincide with the numbering of entries in the List of References.

Authors. If the publication has an official English translation, the authors' names and surnames from the official source should be given. If the work has no original English translation, the surnames and names of authors in References are written in transliteration according to the BSI (British Standards Institution) standard https://transliteration.pro/bsi. The BSI standard is used for correct translation of Russian letters into Latin letters, which is important for bibliographic description of scientific publications and for entering foreign analytical databases.

All authors are listed at the beginning of the bibliographic description of sources, with initials after the surname. A comma is NOT placed between the surname and initials; a space between the first name and patronymic is NOT used. When listing the authors' full names, they are separated by a comma. In the bibliographic description of the source should be presented all authors, if their number is from one to three. If a publication has more than 3 authors, the abbreviation "et al." should be placed after the 3rd author. A comma separating the name of the last author and "et al." is mandatory.

Punctuation. References do not use separating signs (between different elements of the bibliographic record) slash "/", double slash "//", dash "-", they should be replaced by dots. . Inverted commas are also not used. References do not use separators (between different elements of the bibliographic record) slash “/”, double slash “//”, dash “-”, they should be replaced with periods.

In a book publication, the number of pages is indicated using the lowercase English letter p with a dot at the end (e.g., 50 p.). The following rule applies to journal articles: the year, volume and issue number of the journal, as well as pages are indicated without spaces in the form 2020;33(2):21-43. Here the year is 2020, Volume 33, issue number 2, pages 21-43. The journal issue number is always given in parentheses.

Title of the publication. The title of the publication is separated from the rest of the bibliographic description by a full stop. If the publication has an English translation of the title, it should be indicated. If the work does not have an original English translation of the title, it should not be translated independently. If there is an original title of the publication in Latin, the original version is given in References. In the absence of the original Latin version of the publication title, the BSI transliteration of the title is given in References, using the online transliteration for this purpose (see: https://transliteration.pro/bsi).

Name of the journal (edition). The name of Russian-language journals in References is given in transliteration, followed by an equal sign without spaces and the English title of the journal. The original English version of the journal title is given; if it is not available, transliteration should be used. In References, the title of the journal is italicised.

It should be borne in mind that some non-English-language scientific publications (journals) have an official title in English in addition to the name in their native language. For example, the journal "Уровень жизни населения регионов России" has an official English-language title "Living Standards of the Population in the Regions of Russia". Journal titles should not be translated independently.

Search for published translations of titles of articles, books and websites is carried out on the official website of the primary source (journal), in bibliographic databases (RINC, Kiberleninka, etc.), on the Internet, in other libraries, using DOI (doi.org and https://search.crossref.org).

Place of publication. The place of publication in References should always be indicated in English (not in transliteration) and in full (without abbreviations), i.e. Moscow, not "Moskva" and not "M.:", Saint Petersburg, not "Sankt Peterburg" and not "SPb".

Name of the publisher/publishers. Unlike the place of publication, the name of the publisher in References should only be transliterated (except in very rare cases where the publisher has a parallel official English-language name).

Publication identifiers. If available, ISBN identifiers for books, DOI for books and articles are indicated. They should be identical to those given in the "List of References" for the respective sources. The EDN identifier is not provided in References. For Russian-language sources, at the end of the bibliographic description indicate the language of the article (In Russ.) without a dot after at the end of the bibliographic description. If available, ISBN for books, DOI for books and articles. They must be identical to those indicated in the "List of references" for the relevant sources. The EDN identifier is not given in the references. For Russian-language sources, at the end of the bibliographic description, is indicated the language of the article (in Russian) without a period after the end of the bibliographic description.
